Recuerdos de Inti Illimani en Guayaquil, Ecuador, 2008.

En el contexto del repaso que nuestros lectores hicieron sobre diferentes historias vividas o protagonizadas con Inti Illimani, Darío Oyarzún nos envía su testimonio. Las fotos dan cuenta de agradables momentos de amistad, camaradería y alegría, reviviendo la nostalgia de la lejanía de la patria, pero disfrutando de las bondades y hospitalidad de la tierra ecuatoriana.

El año 2008 el Ecuador vivió un proceso democrático de carácter histórico: el referendum de una Nueva Constitución. En este contexto, los Inti fueron a dar su apoyo a la campaña por la reforma constitucional y estuvieron en el acto de cierre en el Estadio Modelo de Guayaquil.
Un grupo de 4 chilenos (voluntarios de la Fundacion America Solidaria) y un español, estuvimos presentes en ese concierto. Luego de este nos acercamos al grupo y tuvimos el placer de poder hacerlas de guias turisticos por la noche Guayaquileña.
Junto a Daniel, Cesar, Efren y Manuel, tuvimos sin lugar a dudas una de las mejores noches fuera de nuestra tierra. Pudimos compartir nuestra experiencia como profesionales voluntarios en Ecuador, nuestra admiración por ellos y por cierto, unas buenas copas.
La guinda de la torta, unos boleros cantados en el bar del Cerro Las Peñas que nos acogió.

Framed on what the visitors of this side shared stories about an experience lived with Inti-Illimani, Dario Oyarzún sent us his storie. On the pictures you can totally see what a nice, friendly time they´ve spent together, leaving behind the sad feeling of being far away from home but enjoying of the kindness and hospitality of the Ecuatorian land.

At year 2008, Ecuador lived an historic democratic process: a refendum to a New Constitution. Framed in that subject Inti-Illimani went there to support the whole campaign and performed at the final day in a great show in the Modelo de Guayaquil Stadium. Four chilean and one spanish guy were there too, as volunteers of the America Solidaria Foundation, we were there at the Concert and after that we went to say HI!! After that we were their tour guides in the Guayaquil´s night. Join to Daniel, Cesar, Efren and Manuel we have spent, no doubt, one of the greatest night far away from home. We shared our experience us professionals volunteers in Ecuador, our admiration for them and of course some cheers.

The top of top was been singing boleros with them in the bar Cerro Las Peñas.
