Inti-Illimani en Izmir, Turquía

Inti-Illimani es del mundo entero.

Esta vez nos sentimos privilegiados y felices de compartir con ustedes el reporte del concierto de que Inti-Illimani ofreció en Izmir, Turquía y que nos hace llegar nuestro querido hermano, colaborador y corresponsal en Turquía, Necmettin Tokur.

La primera vez que tocaron en Turquía fue el año 1991… Después tocaron varias veces el 2003 y luego el 2008… y finalmente el 2009, o sea, dos años seguidos. Los esfuerzos que hacemos para promover en Turquía la Nueva Canción parece que “sí funcionaron”.

El 3 de julio tocaron en Estambul junto a nuestros conocidos grupos turcos “Mogollar” y “Agire Jiyan”, y el 4 de julio en Seferihisar.

Seferihisar es un lindo pueblo en la costa a unos 45 kilómetros de Izmir y recién está postulando a convertirse en miembro del movimiento "Cittaslow".

Este año, el “Encuentro de jóvenes trabajadores” (el primero se realizó el año pasado) se realizó en Seferihisar entre el 27 de junio y el 5 de julio, en el que jóvenes trabajadores de todo el mundo, de diferentes nacionalidades pero provenientes de una misma clase, se reunieron en Turquía con el lema de “No tenemos por qué pagar por su crisis”.

Y los Inti-Illimani fueron los encargados de cerrar los conciertos el último día de los eventos. A pesar de que los conciertos no se hicieron en un lugar central de Izmir, asistió un público considerable y acompañó al Inti durante varias canciones, observando maravillados su actuación pero, por encima de todo, fue realmente increíble ver a 10 (8+2) de nuestros mejores amigos en Chile. Inti: muchas gracias por hacernos sentir como si hubiésemos estado en Chile.

Türkiye’ye ilk kez 1991’de geldiler….. daha sonra önce 2003’te sonra da 2008’de Türkiye’de çok sayıda konser verdiler….. ve son olarak da 2009….. yani son iki yıl üst üste…. anlaşılan Nueva Canción’u Türkiye’de yaygınlaştırma çabalarımız “işe yaradı”

3 Temmuz’da önce Istanbul’da Türkiye’de tanınmış müzik grupları “Moğollar” ve “Agire Jiyan” ile sahne aldılar, daha sonra da 4 Temmuz’da Seferihisar’da.

Seferihisar İzmir’e yaklaşık 45 km mesafede, şirin bir sahil kasabasıdır ve yakın zamanda “Cittaslow” hareketine üye olmak için başvurdu.

Bu yıl “Genç İşçiler Buluşuyor” (ilki geçtiğimiz yıl düzenlendi) organizasyonu 27 Haziran – 5 Temmuz tarihleri arasında Seferihisar’da düzenlendi ve bütün dünyadan, farklı yurttaşlıklardan ancak aynı sınıfa ait genç işçiler, “Sizin krizinizin faturasını biz ödemeyeceğiz!” sloganı ile Türkiye’de buluştu.

Ve Inti-Illimani, etkinliklerin son gününde kapanış konseri verdi. Konser alanı İzmir’in merkezi bir yerinde olmamasına rağmen önemli bir kitle konseri geldi ve Inti’nin performansını büyülenerek izlerken bir çok şarkıda Inti’ye eşlik etti; fakat her şeyden önemlisi, Şili’deki en iyi arkadaşlarımızdan 10 (8+2) tanesini görmek gerçekten inanılmazdı….. Bize kendimizi Şili’de hissettirdiğin için teşekkürler Inti.

They performed in Turkey in 1991 for the first time…. It is followed by several performances in 2003 then in 2008…. an finally in 2009…..i.e. two years in a row, our efforts to promote Nueva Canción in Turkey seemingly “did work”!!!

On 3th of July they performed in Istanbul with well known Turkish music groups “Mogollar” and “Agire Jiyan”, then in Seferihisar on 4th of July.

Seferihisar is a pretty coastal town about 45 km from Izmir, and she recently applied to become a member of the movement “Cittaslow”.

This year, the “Young Workers’ Gathering” (first was in last year) was organized in Seferihisar between 27 June – 5 July, and young workers from all around the world, coming from different nationalities but belonging to the same class met in Turkey with the motto “We shall not pay for your crisis!”.

And Inti-Illimani performed the closing concert on the last day of the events. Although the concert place was not at a central location of Izmir, a considerable audience attended the concert, and accompanied Inti during many songs watching their stage performance amazingly; but above all, it was really incredible to see our 10 (8+2) out of best friends in Chile… thanks a lot Inti for making us feel as if we were in Chile.
